Lionel Blue

“At a recent weekend retreat supported by The Eddystone Trust I have seen people rescued from depression and given new hope in life.  Things became fresh and new for tired and wounded people.  I myself started to walk without a stick!  Witnesses available.  I am honoured to be a Patron.”

Rabbi Lionel Blue, April 2012

Lionel Blue was the first British rabbi publicly to affirm his homosexual orientation and published Godly and Gay in 1981.  For more than 25 years, Lionel has been a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4’s Thought for the Day.  We are thrilled that he has become a patron of The Eddystone Trust and look forward to working with him to improve the lives of those in need of our help.
