Partnership Pathways and Progress
Background (excerpt from document)
"As Eddystone looked at its plans for 2004 it wasn’t definite that we would host another regional Hep C conference.
The previous three had been successful and a great deal was consequently achieved.
But issues kept arising that related to training, to information-sharing and to raising the profile of the virus amongst professionals which made another conference a priority.
Likewise, this booklet developed from a vague idea to a natural focus.
The conference couldn’t address all the issues that we were identifying for it., and those we could address we wanted to highlight.
Hence the idea of producing this, a resource that relates to the 2004 south west Hep C conference but also exists separately, for distribution and use beyond the event.
The idea, then, is to reflect the focuses of the conference, providing written summaries of presentations in a useful, accessible format, but also to cover related matters, together reflecting key elements of the south west’s response to HCV.
