Fundraising Events
Although we are fortunate to receive funding from Primary Care Trusts and Social Services to provide some our services there are some areas of our work for which we have to fundraise.
For those charities that support people affected by HIV the most significant day in our calendar is World AIDS Day. This is held on the 1st of December each year. Around this date we and our supporters arrange a number of events to raise awareness and money.
The majority of our fundraising goes into our Small Grants Fund which supports the most vulnerable of our clients. It may help with an unexpected bill, piece of equipment or a trip to a respite centre.
