Volunteering

Welcome to Volunteering at The Eddystone Trust

About The Eddystone Trust

Aims and Objectives:

Our aims and objectives are to challenge the stigma, discrimination and misinformation associated with HIV and Sexual Health and work tirelessly with people affected by HIV to improve their quality of life.

Our History:

The Eddystone Trust was founded by volunteers back in the 80’s and today volunteers still play a vital part in the work that we do across the South West.

Services We Offer

Support:

The Eddystone Trust provides support for people living with and affected by HIV, this includes carers and partners.

Prevention:

Prevention by its very nature is a wide and varied subject.  Its aim is not only about preventing the transmisison of HIV and all other sexually transmited infection (STIs) it is also about awareness raising, challenging stigma and discrimination that is associated with HIV, myth busting and many other things.

Volunteer support is vital to many areas of our work and our aim is to have a meaningful engagement with all of our volunteers, so we will do our best to ensure that any roles we have available are matched with the skills, experience and time you want to offer.

When volunteer roles become available they will be shown on our Volunteering Opportunities page.
