Why Volunteer at The Eddystone Trust?

Volunteer support is vital to many areas of our work and our aim is to have a meaningful engagement with all of our volunteers, so we will do our best to ensure that any roles we have available are matched with the skills, experience and time you want to offer.

Skills and Experience:

Volunteering provides an opportunity to use your existing skills and experience as well as the opportunity to develop new ones.

  • develop your knowledge and understanding of HIV and sexual health
  • gain valuable experience for your CV
  • develop a range of transferable skills

Training and Development:

You will be offered any training and support that is necessary for the role you will be volunteering for.  This includes all health and safety aspects of the organisation and the role you will be undertaking, data protection and confidentiality.  In addition we will offer you other specialised training that is required to complete your agreed volunteering role.
