We are seeking a Community HIV Worker to provide day-to-day support for service users under the direction and guidance of the Operations Manager, and to ensure that service users have access to a range of support services and other organisations that may be able to assist them.
You will deliver support, including brief interventions, through a casework approach to individuals affected by HIV. You will need to demonstrate an understanding of initial needs assessments, support planning and support plan reviewing. You will have excellent communications skills as you will be delivering community outreach sessions at a range of venues as part of the role. Ideally you will have experience of support work with the ability to record, monitor and report on case loads so need good literacy and computer skills.
This role is stimulating and varied and requires a motivated and proactive individual.

The Eddystone Trust is seeking to recruit new trustees to its board which meets at least 4 times a year in Plymouth or Exeter. Working with the Director you will ensure that the charity has a clear vision, mission and strategic direction and review the performance of the charity.
