Condoms By Post (South and West Devon)
For gay men living in our corner of the South West (that's South and West Devon), Eddystone is offering condoms by post. We provide Safer Sex resources through specific pubs but realise that not everyone wants to collect condoms in public. So we are inviting men who have sex with men to send us a stamped, addressed envelope.
This is a confidential service, staff in Plymouth just sending out the requested resources in the envelopes provided, either a jiffy bag or strong (A5) envelope, with both 71 pence in stamps and a name and address on it. Upon receipt, we'll then send out up to 15 condoms and 15 lubricant in the pack provided. The new postage rates make this a bit tricky as anything more than 25mm thick becomes a parcel as opposed to a large letter!
So, while people pay for post and packing, they still get highly subsidised condoms.
Usual address: 36 Looe Street, Plymouth, PL4 OEB. Don't forget the SAE ...
