Housing Related Support
The Eddystone Trust provides a confidential and specialist provision of ‘Housing Related Support’ for people living with HIV.
The service aims to enable the individual to maintain or improve independent living by providing support to anyone who is HIV positive and living in the Plymouth area.
- Services available through the Housing Related Support include:
- Advice and advocacy on homelessness or at risk of losing your home
- Assistance with moving on into independent living and maintaining existing tenancies
- Support with Welfare Benefits including: Income Support, JSA and DLA
- Assistance in all housing related issues and applying for Housing Allowance (formally known as housing benefit)
Setting up utility services (gas, electricity etc.) and bill payments

A full support assessment will be completed on everyone wanting to access this service.
