EHC for free!
In a bid to accelerate the teenage pregnancy strategy, young people (aged 13-19 years) in Plymouth will be able to access free Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC/ the morning after pill) from the following pharmacies in Plymouth:
Boots, Drake Circus Shopping Centre
Alliance Pharmacy, 84 Embankment Road
Keyham Pharmacy, 206 Saltash Road
Boots, New George Street If you are sending young people to a pharmacy please ring first to ensure the pharmacist is available to issue the emergency contraception. It is hoped that more pharmacies will sign up to this scheme and that it will be fully rolled out in the hotspot areas of Plymouth shortly. Sarah
