Are you a Carer?

You might not think of yourself as a carer. Do you just help out when someone you know who is living with HIV needs it - not because you need to but because you want to? To call yourself a carer may simply not enter into your thinking.

Even if you don’t want to use the label ‘carer’, this doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be able to access support for yourself, such as emotional or practical support - even additional benefits that may be available to support in getting a much needed break.
