South West Statistics South West Statistics There are more people living with HIV than ever before in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. In 2013 there were an estimated 1,478 people living with HIV in the area. Nearly one in four (24%) of these people were undiagnosed. There were 182 new HIV diagnoses in 2013 in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset – a 12% increase on 2012 when 163 people were diagnosed.
