Working For Us Working for The Eddystone TrustCurrent vacancies There are currently 2 part-time roles available, both are based in Somerset, a Prevention Worker and a HIV Support Worker, these are varied roles which require motivated and proactive individuals. The Community Sexual Health Prevention Worker will deliver targeted prevention strategies to those at risk of poor sexual health, supporting, educating and signposting them appropriately, including the delivery of brief interventions and Point of Care Testing. The HIV Support Worker will provide support for people living with or affected by HIV, ensuring that they have access to a range of support services and other organisations that may be able to assist them. The support will be delivered through a casework approach to individuals and you will need to demonstrate an understanding of initial needs assessments, support planning and support plan reviewing. Both roles require excellent communications skills as you will be delivering community training/education sessions at a range of venues as part of the roles.
